Sukhu called Kumar’s achievement a proud moment for the state, highlighting it as an inspiration for young athletes. He expressed hope that Kumar’s success would motivate others in the state to excel in their respective fields.

So far, India has won seven medals at the Paris Paralympics, including one gold, two silvers, and four bronzes.
