Frances Tiafoe advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open with a 6-4, 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-3 victory over Alexei Popyrin. This marks Tiafoe’s third consecutive quarterfinal appearance at the event. He will next face ninth-seed Grigor Dimitrov.

Reflecting on his journey, Tiafoe shared his childhood dream of playing on the iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium court. I always dreamed of playing here.
