Today, Dabang Delhi TTC and Athlead Goa Challengers will face off for the first time in the 2024 Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Both teams are eager to make their mark in the tournament.

Dabang Delhi TTC, captained by Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, has lost their first two matches but remains close to playoff contention. A significant win could propel them from seventh place into a playoff spot, according to UTT.

Athlead Goa Challengers, led by Harmeet Desai, are coming off a heavy defeat to Ahmedabad SG Pipers and will be looking to rebound strongly. As the reigning champions, they aim to reassert their dominance.

A key highlight of the match will be Sathiyan Gnanasekaran facing off against Harmeet Desai, both esteemed Indian players with Olympic experience. Another exciting matchup will feature Diya Chitale of Dabang Delhi, who impressed with a recent win, going up against Athlead’s rising star, Yashaswini Ghorpade.

For the foreign players, all eyes will be on Athlead Goa Challengers’ Yangzi Liu, who remains unbeaten this season. Liu will look to extend her winning streak against Dabang Delhi’s Orawan Paranang.
