Due to the heavy rain, the bridge collapsed and the road traffic was disrupted. The incident took place near Devuru village in Devara Hipparagi taluk of district. Devara Hipparagi Talikoti road of district has been reduced due to the collapse of the bridge.
The road from Devara Hipparagi to Talikoti is closed for traffic. Tahsildar Prakash Sindagi visited the place and inspected it. Due to the collapse of the bridge, a ban has been imposed on heavy vehicular traffic. The bridge collapsed due to heavy rain yesterday evening. Locals have requested to repair the bridge as soon as possible and allow traffic. Tahsildar Prakash Sindagi has directed the officials to repair the bridge
