The ECI announced their visit on X, stating, CEC Rajiv Kumar and ECs Gyanesh Kumar and Dr. SS Sandhu are in Chandigarh to review poll readiness for the Haryana Assembly elections.

The current Haryana Assembly, consisting of 90 members, will complete its term on November 3, 2024. Haryana is among eight states holding legislative assembly elections this year.
