Radhika Apte wraps the shoot of ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake

Radhika Apte has completed the shooting of her portions from Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake. After filming for a small portion, Radhika had recently joined Hrithik Roshan and team in Mumbai for a 10-day schedule.
This action thriller is an official remake of Tamil hit ‘Vikram Vedha’, which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the titular roles. It is being directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, who had called the shots for the original film too. The excited filmmaker had previously shared, “We are delighted to be working with Hrithik and Saif – two great actors. With a superb team around us, we hope to deliver a film that will be intense and exciting.”
Speaking about the film, producer Bhushan Kumar had said, “’Vikram Vedha’ promises to be one of the most thrilling and entertaining films of the year. The announcement itself has sparked off a great deal of interest in the audience. We’re ecstatic to reunite this dynamic duo after two decades on the big screen. We cannot wait for ‘Vikram Vedha’ to work its magic in the theatres and become a box-office hit.”
Saif and Hrithik had last shared the frame in 2002 release ‘Naa Tum Jaano Naa Hum’. For ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake, both the actors have been pitted against each other. Saif Ali Khan essays the role of a cop in this film, while Hrithik will play the character of a notorious gangster. ‘Vikram Vedha’ is slated to release on September 30, 2022.
