Dharwad

The Dharwad Government Women’s First Class College, which was in a deteriorating state due to heavy rain leaks, has been relocated. The students showed their appreciation to Collector Divya Prabhu by presenting flowers.

In response to the issue, District Collector Divya Prabhu personally oversaw the relocation of classes to other buildings. The students expressed their gratitude, saying, You have solved our problem. The college’s old building was in poor condition, with leaks and stagnant water making it difficult for teachers to conduct classes. The situation had become so severe that the college was at risk of collapsing.

Recognizing the urgency, Collector Prabhu visited the college, assessed the damage, and promptly arranged for the classes to be moved to the UPS High School and Diet premises in Dharwad city. The students were relieved and happy to have a safe and adequate environment for their studies and thanked the district administration for the prompt action in addressing their concerns.
