A tulabhara of seeds and saplings was offered by Kalkura Prathishtana to Pejawar Mutt pontiff Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, in recognition of his efforts in nature conservation. The ceremony took place at the residence of Prathishtana Chairman Pradeep Kumar Kalkura.

During the event, blessings were imparted by Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, emphasizing the urgent need for environmental protection. He stressed that everyone must contribute by planting saplings, citing global warming and water scarcity as critical issues exacerbated by human actions. The pontiff urged vehicle owners and air conditioner users to mitigate their impact by planting trees.

Highlighting the essential role of trees in oxygen generation and traditional rituals like cremation, Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji underscored the teachings of Veda Vyasa on non-violence. He called for a collective awakening to the significance of nature and urged each individual to take responsibility for planting saplings.

The saplings and seeds used in the tulabhara were distributed among devotees attending the program. Additionally, a guru vandana program paid homage to the late Pejawar Mutt pontiff Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji during the occasion.
