Allegations have surfaced involving not only MLAs and former ministers but also some current ministers in the Valmiki Development Corporation scam. BJP State President and MLA BY Vijayendra addressed the media on Tuesday, stating that the scale of these revelations is significant for the state’s residents.

Vijayendra emphasized that no one implicated in the scam will evade investigation, regardless of their stature. Both the CBI and ED are conducting inquiries independently to ensure thorough examination.

MLA Dadal, Chairman of the Valmiki Corporation, was present in the legislative session on Monday, where his role, alongside Nagendra’s, was scrutinized in relation to the scandal.

Regarding the Cauvery River water dispute, Vijayendra dismissed concerns about Tamil Nadu’s actions, affirming that the state’s interests were clearly articulated during a recent meeting convened by the Chief Minister. He emphasized the need to protect farmers’ interests, particularly in the Mysore region.

The ongoing annual disputes raised by the Tamil Nadu government over the Cauvery River were noted, with Vijayendra urging more effective arguments in the tribunal. He expressed confidence that the Chief Minister would appoint competent legal representation to advance the state’s position effectively.
