A video showing people warmly welcoming Abdul Ladakhan, alleged to be a quack, in Kittur town, is going viral on social media platforms. His supporters have uploaded and circulated the videos on social media of his welcome, with the tagline ‘King is Back.’
The celebration was organised on the day of his release from jail, some days ago. Police had arrested Ladakhan three weeks prior, along with five others, for allegedly running an illegal abortion racket and selling infants to wealthy individuals. Based on the information, police conducted a raid on Ladakhan’s farmhouse, where they discovered three foetuses buried. The exhumed foetuses have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for investigation.
In the video, people are seen garlanding Abdul, showering him with flowers, and taking selfies with him.
