The inauguration of a new basketball court at Sri Swami Vivekananda Vidya Institute in Bettakote village saw K. H. Muniyappa, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, emphasizing the potential of the facility to nurture youth talent and elevate the country’s standing in sports on national and international platforms.
During the ceremony, the he also inaugurated the first floor of the milk dairy in Reddihalli village, under Bettakote Gram Panchayat On Thursday. He highlighted the importance of community involvement in initiatives like the Reddihalli Milk Producers Cooperative Society, urging more farmers to contribute to societal development.
The event included the distribution of Mixi to special individuals in Bettakote Gram Panchayat as part of the 5th Finance Commission activities. Among the dignitaries present were Taluka Panchayat Chief Executive Srinath Gowda, Assistant Director of Social Welfare Department Nalinakshi, and local leaders and officials.
