In Bengaluru’s Silicon City, a gas cylinder explosion early this morning resulted in injuries to five individuals. The incident occurred during breakfast preparation, causing severe injuries to Rakesh, Krishna, Hariram, and Ramdhan, who have been admitted to Victoria Burn ward for treatment. Fortunately, one individual escaped injury as he was in the house’s restroom at the time of the blast.
According to reports, the youths, originally from Uttar Pradesh and employed in the POP ceiling industry in Bengaluru, had purchased a private cylinder for cooking purposes. The explosion is suspected to have been triggered by a gas leak during the preparation of chapatis.
The KS Layout police conducted an initial inspection at the site, and a case has been registered at Kumaraswamy police station as investigations continue into the incident.
