The new office bearers of Rotary Club of Seven Hills Dharwad will be installed at a function at Alur Venkatrao Bhavan today. Rotarian Gauri Madalabhavi will be installed as the President, and Rotarian Smita Mantri as the Secretary along with their new team of board members for the year 2024-25. Past District Governor Gaurish Dhond from Goa, who is currently the district learning facilitator of Rotary District 3170, will install the new team.
Assistant Governor Dr Anand Tavargeri will be present. Two years ago, the Club established the first Human Milk Bank of Hubli-Dharwad at SDM Medical Hospital to help mothers and neonates in the region. It has contributed significantly to reduce the neonatal mortality and morbidity, she added.
