MLA B. Shivanna took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony for Anganwadi buildings and the distribution of smartphones and medical kits to Anganwadi workers at Ramakutira in Anekal town on wednesday. The event, organized by the Department of Women and Child Development, Bengaluru City District, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Anekal Taluk, saw significant participation from local officials.
During the ceremony, MLA B. Shivanna performed Guddali Puja for the new Anganwadi building in Satyanarayana Barangay of Anekal Town, Ward 21. He also inaugurated two rooms at the old government secondary school. A total of 523 smartphones were distributed to Anganwadi workers and supervisors of Anekal Taluk at the same venue.
Deputy Director of the Women and Child Development Department Siddaramanna, CDPO of the Women and Child Development Department Kavitha, former municipal president N.S. Padmanabha and others were present.
