In Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka district, 56 kilogram of charas worth Rs 27 crore were taken by police on Saturday.
A massive search operation by police teams resulted in the recovery of 64 packs of unclaimed charas from the coastal area.
This is the area’s third significant seizure of contraband in as many weeks.
To make sure that no further drugs were concealed, a comprehensive search of the whole coastal region was carried out.

In the Devbhumi Dwarka district, charas have been taken by police from three separate locations in the last week.
From the shores of Chandrabhaga and Gorinja, fifty-five packs of premium charas were found.
9.801 grams of ganja valued at Rs 98,000 were taken from the SG Highway region by Ahmedabad police in a separate operation, and one individual was detained in connection with it.
Nandkishore Yadav was named as the accused.
Yadav disclosed during questioning that the ganja was supplied by a man from Nepal by the name of Ramesh.
In an effort to identify the network responsible for this drug trafficking, the Crime Branch has filed a case and started an investigation.
