A tragic incident occurred at Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Pre-Matric Boys’ Hostel in Hoskote, where a 13-year-old boy died of electrocution. The incident happened in the morning when the boy, identified as Saibhavan, went to dry clothes on the hostel floor.
Saibhavan, a resident of Sulibele in Hoskote taluk, had been residing and studying at the boys’ hostel for the past two years. He came into contact with an 11 KV electric wire while drying clothes, leading to his untimely death.
The body of the deceased student has been shifted to Hoskote Government Hospital. The parents of Saibhavan have lodged a complaint with the police, seeking an investigation into the incident.
