A violent gang war broke out between rowdy groups at Parappana Agrahara jail, involving notorious rowdy-sheeter Kullu Rizwan and the boys’ Ittamadu Sagar and his team. The attack stemmed from a kidnapping incident involving Sagar and his associates.
Several months ago, Sagar, a cricket bookie, was kidnapped and detained by the CCB police after demanding money. Rizchan, who was targeted in the kidnapping, was taken because he was allegedly giving protection money to someone other than Kullu Rizwan. Enraged by this, Kullu attacked Sagar and his team with a sword. The confrontation occurred while Sagar and his associates were being shifted to the jail barracks from a quarantine barrack where they were held following the kidnapping case.
The clash involved eight individuals, including Sagar, Tejas, Rakesh, and Guruprad, who were attacked by eight others, including Vishwa, Jaffer, Tipu, and Muniraj, in front of the third barrack. The attackers used stone bricks within the jail premises, resulting in injuries to Sagar and several others. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the jail hospital. A case has been registered at Parappana Agrahara police station, and the police are investigating the incident.
