Additional Chief Secretary Inspects BBMP Control Room and ICCC

Umashankar, Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department, conducted an inspection of the control room and Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) located on the 6th floor of the BBMP Head Office Annex building on wednesday.

Given the city’s rainy weather, Umashankar visited the control room at the corporation’s headquarters to assess its operations. He emphasized the importance of diligently monitoring the control room and promptly addressing citizen complaints.

Chief Commissioner Tushar Giri Nath outlined the process for receiving and addressing citizen complaints through the Corporation’s helpline number 1533 and Helpline 2.0 software.

Umashankar also toured the ICCC established by Bangalore Smart City, learning about its functions and monitoring capabilities.

Additionally, he inspected water level sensors installed in city canals by KSNDMC and the Indian Institute of Science, which are monitored by the ICCC. He gained insights into their operation and benefits.

Special Commissioner of Disaster Management, Suralkar Vikas Kishore, and other officials accompanied Umashankar during the inspection.
