Bengaluru witnessed chaotic scenes as heavy rains lashed the city Friday night, leaving more than 50 vehicles stranded on Mysuru Central Road. The impact of the storm resulted in rainwater overflowing onto the road near RR Nagar arch, causing significant disruption to traffic.
Reports indicate that waterlogging reached up to three feet in some areas, particularly affecting autos and cars, which became stuck in the flooded streets. The situation led to a long line of vehicles stretching from Kengeri to RR Nagar, exacerbating the traffic woes during the night.
Authorities are currently working to address the aftermath of the heavy rains and to clear the affected roads to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
