MP Prajwal Revanna’s alleged involvement in an obscene video case has caused embarrassment to the BJP and its allied parties. Former BJP minister Arvind Limbavali expressed disapproval of the incident, stating that such behavior should not be tolerated.
Limbavali addressed the media, emphasizing that the BJP has consistently campaigned on the platform of development. Over the past decade, the BJP-led central government has prioritized development and safety measures. Limbavali believes that the BJP’s track record in these areas has garnered support from the public, who are eager to see further development initiatives.
He criticized opposition parties for attempting to capitalize on anti-incumbency sentiments. Despite this, Limbavali highlighted that Prime Minister Modi’s tenure has remained free from any major controversies or scandals. He accused the opposition, particularly the Congress, of politicizing the Prajwal Revanna case, pointing out that the Congress government itself initiated the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter.
Limbavali called for a swift and thorough investigation into the case, advocating for justice to be served promptly. He also addressed the Hubli Neha Hiremath murder case, distinguishing it from the Prajwal Revanna incident. Limbavali suggested that Neha’s case may be linked to broader anti-national activities, potentially involving jihadists.
