English kabaddi players Felix Li and Yuvraj Pandeya achieved their dream of being a part of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in the recently concluded tenth edition of the tournament. The Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 was held from December 2, 2023, to March 1, 2024 across 12 cities.

Speaking about his experience at the Pro Kabaddi League, Felix said as quoted by a PKL press release that the experience at PKL was amazing because Kabaddi is not so big in England. He said he has always dreamt of being a part of PKL and has been following it since the season one, but he said he never thought he would be part of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj spoke about his journey from watching matches on TV to playing at the PKL stadiums, saying it is a completely different experience. He said that on the television, everybody sees 40 minutes of action, whereas in the PKL, a full experience of being able to play with, and against is gifted, which is the best of the best in the world. We have played in a few international tournaments, but it is not of this size and level, he said.

When asked about how he started playing kabaddi, Yuvraj said, he started playing Kabaddi with a local Hindu group at a young age. During a local tournament, the England Kabaddi team captain saw him perform and said that he plays well, calling to train with them. He concluded saying that one thing led to the other, and now he plays for England.
