Unique Basava Jayanti Celebration: Ambali Distribution Marks Tribute To Basaveshwar

On the occasion of Basava Jayanti, it is common to celebrate by paying floral tributes to Basaveshwar statue and portraits. But in the premises of Bekkina Kalmatha on Friday, Dr. Murugarajendra Mahaswamy started by distributing Ambali.
Bengal dishes with millets and grams were served, which were comforting for summer. Ambali, which is very special for Basava Jayanti were also served. With this, Basava Jayanti was celebrated with full meaning. All Swamijis and Basavanna’s followers paid floral tributes to Basaveshwara Puthali located in front of Gandhi Park in the city.
