Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, R Ashoka, expressed strong condemnation over the perceived lack of value for Hindu lives following the tenure of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He released a list of allegations against Congress mismanagement during a session at the BJP office.

Ashoka highlighted ongoing issues such as attacks on Hindus, alleged instances of Love Jihad, and what he described as the state’s governance by criminal elements. He particularly condemned the recent killing of a young Hindu woman in Hubli, labeling it as a case of Love Jihad, and accused the government of providing leeway to criminal activities.

He criticized Congress leaders for dismissing such incidents as personal matters or love affairs, stressing that they should acknowledge the severity of the situation. Ashoka lamented the perceived leniency towards perpetrators of crimes like Love Jihad, murder, and riots, accusing the government of playing favorites.

Ashoka also raised concerns about the mismanagement of government funds, alleging that taxes collected from citizens were being diverted to other states and likening the situation to looting. He called attention to what he viewed as unchecked corruption and the misuse of public resources, citing examples of financial mismanagement.

Ashoka’s statements underscored a broader criticism of the Siddaramaiah-led government’s handling of law and order issues, as well as concerns about financial transparency and accountability.
