Vidyalakshmi Tops State In Second PUC Science Exam

Vidyalakshmi, a student of Vidyaniketan Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, Bairedevarakoppa, emerged as the top scorer in the state for the second PUC science examination, securing 598 marks.

With a stellar academic record, Vidyalakshmi had previously secured 97 percent marks in the tenth class examination. Her father, S Akhileswaran, serves as a Senior Section Engineer, while her mother, Kritika, is a homemaker. Originally from Tamil Nadu, Vidyalakshmi has been a resident of the city since 2002.

Expressing her ambition to become a doctor. Principal Anil Kumar Chowgala praised her achievement, noting her perfect scores in all subjects except Hindi.

In addition to Vidyalakshmi, Aditya Avaserakar and Sahana Ilagera achieved the 5th rank with 594 marks each, while Krupa Vadoni and Sankalpa Kunte secured the 6th rank with 593 marks each. Aniruddha Kulkarni, Shreya Gowder, and Vaishnavi Kuri attained the 8th rank with 591 marks each. Kiran Thole and Samid Takke clinched the 9th rank with 590 marks each, while Ramya Kakola and Sagar Gaurannavar secured the 10th rank with 589 marks each.A donation of Rs 1 lakh has been made to Vidyalakshmi by Chowgala Educational Institution. The event was attended by College Principal Ananda Mulagunda, Secretary Sridevi Chowgala, as well as Gangadhara Kumadolli and Ramesh Bandiwada.
