Congress candidate Mrinal Hebbalkar and BJP candidate Jagdeesh Shettar from Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency will file their nomination papers on April 15 and are gearing up to show their strength through a huge rally on that day.
Mrinal Hebbalkar will perform puja for nomination at Sulebavi Mahalakshmi temple at 6 am that day. Later at 11 o’clock will offer pooja at Hindalaga Ganapati temple and start the rally from there. Then he will go to the Deputy Commissioner’s office and submit his nomination papers.
Public Works Minister and District In-charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, all Congress MLAs, leaders and a large number of workers of the district will participate. Besides, some leaders of the state are also expected to arrive.
There has already been a loud campaign on behalf of Mrinal Hebbalkar in the constituency, meetings of activists and public meetings are being held in all taluks and hoblis of the constituency. He said that he has many dreams in the direction of bringing many projects to the district, especially providing employment to the youth. BJP candidate Jagdish Shettar will also file nomination on 15th, district BJP leaders and some state leaders will attend on that day. BJP is also likely to make a show of strength by adding a large number of workers on that day.
