PTI leaders criticized Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for labeling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a hub of terrorists and smugglers, blaming the PDM government for terrorism resurgence. PTI’s Raoof Hasan and Punjab PTI Secretary Information Shaukat Mahmood Basra condemned Nawaz’s accusations and accused the Sharif family of fostering terrorism. They highlighted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s efforts despite Center’s negligence in appointing officers and releasing funds. Hasan criticized political rivals supporting governor rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and vowed to expose election fraud. Basra accused the Sharif family of placing economic burden on farmers in retaliation for election defeat.
