School Education and Literacy Department and District in-charge Minister S Madhu Bangarappa said that the administrative building has been built with the aim of solving people’s problems under one roof without moving them from office to office.
He spoke after inaugurating the new administrative building of Sagar Taluk on Wednesday. Officials should avoid the public from frequenting the government office for their work. He said that people’s problems should be understood and solutions should be provided.
There are many issues including Sharavati flood victims, Bagarhukum. We will fight for it. We have held several meetings to provide justice to the victims.
MLA and President of State Forest Industry Corporation Gopalakrishna Belur said that, the marine sector is growing but still needs to be developed. After getting sanction for this administrative building, the work was stopped for three years.
MADB President RM Manjunath Gowda said that it is a matter of happiness that the building started by Kagodu Thimmappa, a pioneer of social justice, was inaugurated. The administrative building is built with the intention of not having to wander around for office work.
Former Minister and former Speaker of Legislative Assembly Kagodu Thimmappa was felicitated on this occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, Executive Officer Nagesh Balal, Tahsildar Syed Kalimulla, PWD AEE Manjunath, Assistant Commissioner R Yatish, City Council President Tukaram, members and other officials were present in the programme.
