Struggle For Language Not Limited To Welfare Of Special Minds: ST Somashekar

MLA ST Somashekar said that it is commendable that the birthplace, mother tongue, soil and water should not be limited to the promotion of special minds, while inaugurating a program called Rural Sports and Bangalore Festival organized for special spirited children in a forum at Ganesh Playground in Kengeri Suburban of Yeshavantpur Assembly Constituency, he said that rural sports such as Lagori are losing any interest in children, as today’s youth have forgotten them and are victims of mobile obsession. He further added that games like Kunte Bille, Annekallu, Hali Guli Mane Chaukabara, Marakoti game, Buguri, Mallakamba, Kanni Muchhale are disappearing. He said that bringing such rural games again can be form of development.

The state president Dr. Suresh said that the fighters should not be limited to fighting on the issues of land, water, land, language and language but should participate in social activities and try to preserve and develop the culture of the country, and also try to bring the rural sports to the forefront by giving life to the games of the rural areas. On the same occasion, a rural sports event was organized for specially gifted children. Award certificates were given to the winning children, and art teams from the Department of Kannada and Culture also participated.

State President of Suvarna Karnataka Forum Dr. M.E. Suresh, Karnataka State Ahinda Organization Forum State President VR Swamy, Malavalli Channappa, Kannada Shapi, CM Shivakumar Nayka, Jayanthi Gowda and others were present.
