Actor Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for the highly anticipated film ‘Amaran’. The first look, title and teaser were all launched on February 16, celebrating the actor’s birthday. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film is a biography of Major Mukund Varadharajan who was martyred in the Kashmir Shopian terror encounter in 2014. The movie’s teaser was power packed and moved everyone with an adrenaline rush with its patritoic touch.
The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and it stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead and GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the movie.
He added that the movie has high paced song and dance sequences as well and that many crucial portions between Sai Pallavi and Sivakarthikyean has been shot.
Rajkumar Periasamy also revealed that Kamal Haasan is very happy with the film’s output already. Speaking on her dedication to work, the director said that he understand how she chooses her scripts and revealed that initially he only gave her a synopsis and only when she was interested he passed on the script.
He added that the actress in the film, playing the role of Major Mukund Varadharajan’s wife has several challenging elements and she is just left with few more portions to wrap up her parts in the film.
Heaping praise of Sai Pallavi, the director added that she is completely invovled in the script and understand every emotion and has been very cooperative to shoot.
‘Amaran’ is likely scheduled for a release in August 2024 and the cast of the film includes Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, Shreekumar among others.
