Pralhad Joshi addressing the gathering in an inauguration at Bhim Convention under the title ‘Navu Balagollona, BJPyannu Balagolisona’ organised at Swai Gandharva hall stated that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wish is to ensure the country grows economically, everyone in the country gets social equality and poverty is eradicated.
Joshi said the Congress that ruled the country in the past had not done any good for the community. Dr BR Ambedkar, who gave the sacred Constitution to the country, was not given respect by the Congress government. The Congress has ignored Dr Ambedkar, his policies and principles.
MLC Chalavadi Narayanaswamy said that, unlike Congress, BJP has never done caste-based politics. For the sake of politics, Congress had insulted Dr BR Ambedkar, now they are honouring Dr Ambedkar for the sake of votes. The thoughts of Ambedkar and BJP are like the two sides of the same coin. Ambedkar worked hard for the unity of the country. But the Congress still talks about the partition of the country, he said. Kolar Member of Parliament and community leader Muniswamy and others were present at the meet.
