NSUI Tried To Lay Sieze To BJP State President Vijayendra’s House, Activists Arrested

NSUI activists on Wednesday tried to lay sieze to the house of BJP State President BY Vijayendra against the central BJP government for not paying Rs 1,87,000 crore tax money due to the state.  The activists were arrested by Police.

The central government has been showing a step-motherly attitude towards the state since the beginning and is committing economic violence on Karnataka and Kannadigas, District NSUI strongly condemned.

The Bhadra Upper Bank Project was announced by the state government in the year 2023-24 and the cost of the project will be Rs. 5,495 crore to the State by the 15th Finance Commission. Although a special grant has been recommended, not even a dime has been given so far. Rs 20,000 crores for partnership scheme in 2021-22 has been reduced to Rs 13,000 crores in 2022-23. AIIMS, Mahadayi scheme is not sanctioned and still remains a dream, the protesters alleged.

On this occasion, 33   workers of NSUI who were protesting in front of BJP State President Vijayendra’s residence were arrested.  

 District Congress  President BA Ramesh Hegde, Block Congress President Kalim Pasha, Nurulla, Youth Congress State General Secretary Chetan,   District President of NSUI Vijay and others participated.
