The recruitment process to fill up 3,064 vacancies in Armed Reserve Police Constable (CAR/DAR) for (men and transgender men) will be held in eight examination centres located at Alva’s Educational Institute, Moodbidri between 11am and 12.30pm on January 28.
City Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that about 17,000 candidates are expected to appear for the examination.He stated that candidates must be present in the examination centre at least 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination, candidates should not carry any electronic equipment, gadgets, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, bits of paper, books / notes etc. into the examination hall. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall only on production of their admission ticket and any valid identity card like driving license / passport / Aadhaar card / voter ID (EPIC).
Candidates should compulsorily wear half-sleeved shirts as far as possible without a collar. They are not allowed to wear shirts with zip pockets and large oversized buttons. They are forbidden from wearing jeans and pants with multiple pockets. Shoes are not allowed inside the examination hall and candidates are advised to wear thin-soled chappals. No metal ornaments around the neck or any finger rings and bracelets will be worn inside the examination hall. Candidates are advised to leave them at home since no arrangement for safe keeping of such valuables is made at the examination centre, said Agrawal.
