Following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Hanuman temples in Uttar Pradesh witnessed a surge in devotees on Tuesday, the day dedicated to Hanuman worship. Despite the chilly weather and dense fog, long queues formed at various Hanuman temples across the state. The Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya reported a massive influx of devotees, attributed to the tradition of visiting this temple before the Ram temple. In Lucknow, despite bone-chilling cold, Hanuman temples experienced a high turnout of worshipers. Unable to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, devotees opted to offer prayers at local Hanuman temples. The surge in crowds may delay their plans to visit Ayodhya in the near future, as expressed by Meenu Sharma, a Ram devotee. In Prayagraj, a significant turnout of devotees was reported at the ‘Bade Hanuman’ temple near Sangam, including those attending the Magh Mela and city residents. The heightened activity is seen as a direct correlation to the recent developments at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
