Minister Shivaraj Thangadagi has said that the BJP State President should give treatment to Anant Kumar Hegde or else he will give it to him. Reacting to Anant Kumar Hegde’s controversial remarks, he said, it has now been proved that the BJP thinks Anant Kumar Hegde is mad. BJP State President had said, we don’t pay heed to his words. His statement has nothing to do with the party. He is a madman within the BJP, work to get him admitted to a mental hospital. The Chief Minister had said the Home Minister will decide on his statement.
Reacting to the Kantharaju report, he said the government was ready to accept the Kantharaju report. We will take Kantharaju’s report by January 31. We have asked for a report. The term of the Commission is till January 31. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has asked for a report within it. Let’s look at the report, read it and then discuss it. This is not a caste census. He said it was a report on the educational and economic status of the backward classes.
Further, this is not a report against anyone. There is no opposition from anyone. There is nothing wrong in accepting Kantharaju’s report. It is also not wrong to insist on acceptance. We will take the Kantharaju report when Jayaprakash Hegde gives it. He said the government has no plans to extend the term again.
