Minister of Women and Child Development, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Senior Citizens, District in-charge Minister Lakshmi R Hebbalkar said that the pending rights issues will be resolved soon.
Speaking at the title deeds distribution programme held at Kundapur Taluk Panchayat Hall on Wednesday, the Minister said that more than a thousand people in Kundapur Taluk have not got the title deeds. She directed the officials to solve the problem before the code of conduct for the next Lok Sabha elections is implemented.
She said that the issue of title deeds will be resolved at the gram panchayat level on a non-partisan basis under the leadership of local MLAs. She said that power is not important for people’s representatives, they should develop an attitude of responding to the problems of the poor. I am fortunate to be the minister in charge of this district, which has its own features.
MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi, Byndur MLA Gururaj Gantihole, Legislative Council Member Manjunath Bhandari, Deputy Commissioner Vidyakumari were present in the ceremony.
