Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda visited the Maddur taluk office on Wednesday and lashed out at the officials in the wake of a barrage of complaints from the public against the irresponsibility of the officials.

The Minister warned the officers and employees after it was found that the officials in the department were delaying the work of the common people.

The Minister, who was on his way to Mysore, visited the taluk office and inspected the work of the department. Meanwhile, when he inquired about the complaints from the public in the office, a farmer complained that he has  wandering around to survey the road.

The Minister took a long hard time with the concerned officials whether the cart road survey should be done for three years, how much time is required to do the survey of the government land.

Have you come here to spend time under pretense, shame on you all, the Minister  said.

Apart from that, he expressed his displeasure saying, should I come to do one thing, if you are not able to do the work, that means leave.  He suggested to do the common people’s work urgently and not to wander for any reason.
