The Sparsha programme at Kota is an indication that the work done together by youth reaches the society, said Opposition Leader in Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Sparsha-2024 program on communal harmony held by Balebettu Manoor Friends and Bhagat Singh Yuvavedike. There is a need of the helping hand of the youth to the scattered society these days. The determination for a strong India will be a reality if youth unite with pro society thoughts, he said.
Manoor Padukere Geetananda Foundation promoter Anand C Kunder unveiled the new banner. Well known doctor of Saligrama, Dr PC Sudhaker was felicitated with hometown honor. Film actress of Kantara film, Saptami Gowda was also felicitated on the occasion. Local social workers and special achievers in agriculture, progressive farmers Shivamurthy Aithal, Annappa Poojary, Ganesh Koraga, Raju Poojary Belebettu, Ganesh Bhandary Kota and Pradeep Kumar Basrur were congratulated.
Model organizations in the vicinity, Mahila Mandala Kota, Mitra Sangama Beejady Gopady and Udupi Kinara fish producers’ company were congratulated. Monetary help and scholarships were distributed to deserving people and students.
