Forest fires along the Line of Control (LoC) in J&K’s Poonch district have led to the detonation of several landmines on Tuesday. Ongoing for the past two to three days in the Mendhar and Balakote areas, the fires near the LoC intensified, causing the explosion of landmines in the affected regions. Authorities reported collaborative efforts between forest officials and the Army to bring the fires under control. The situation is being actively monitored as measures are taken to mitigate the impact of the forest fires and ensure the safety of the affected areas.
