State President of Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association Shivananda Tauduru said that the State Level Conference of Karnataka Working Journalists Association held so far in different districts of the state was different from one another.
Speaking at the preliminary meeting of the conference held at the office of the district unit of the Karnataka Working Journalists Association in the Municipal Corporation premises of the city, he said that the conferences held in various districts including Mysore, Mangalore, Kalburgi and Vijayapur were unprecedented. Not only that, seminars, cultural programmes and various committees of the conference are again and again remembering the hospitality given to the guests. Davanagere conference should be more memorable than that. He said that the journalists of the district should stand firm for all this. For the success of the conference, he suggested that every journalist of the district should voluntarily engage in their work activities and work with unity and commitment without any criticism or comment.
GC Lokesh, State General Secretary of Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association said, we decided to hold the conference in Davangere and decided to take it. He appealed to everyone to cooperate for the success of the conference without any deviation.
