In a series of overnight airstrikes in the Nur Shams camp near the West Bank city of Tulkarem, four Palestinians lost their lives, as reported by the media. The strikes were reportedly in response to an attack on Israeli troops in the area with explosive devices. According to The Times of Israel, some of the casualties were identified as wanted terrorists. The Palestinian Authority’s official stated that several others were wounded in the airstrikes. In a related development, Wafa reported that an individual injured in a drone strike in Jenin last week has succumbed to his injuries, as per The Times of Israel. The strikes occurred as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted operations in Jenin and the adjacent refugee camp to apprehend wanted Palestinians suspected of involvement in terror activities. The targeted Palestinians had allegedly thrown explosive devices toward IDF troops carrying out an arrest raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday morning, according to statements from both the army and Palestinian officials.
