KLE Technological University Dr MS Sheshgiri, College of Engineering and Technology, inaugurated the Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE).. The objective of CTIE is to prevent the brain drain from Tier II cities and empower the local community by creating opportunities for cutting-edge research and development.
The CTIE will serve as a platform for students, researchers and entrepreneurs to collaborate, leverage collective potential to drive technological advancements and economic growth in the region. In his inaugural address, Principal Dr SF Patil opined that the centre is a platform of KLE Technological University’s commitment to shape not only the academic curriculum but also the entrepreneurial landscape of North Karnataka. CTJE Director Shiv Turmari, along with the team shared his excitement of this transformative initiative and congratulated the principal for taking up this challenge to nurture tech entrepreneurial talent from local areas.
