GRAP-III, the Graded Response Action Plan, has been lifted. Forecasts from the weather department state that if the wind speed drops, there could be variations in the AQI levels. At a press conference held at the Delhi Secretariat, Rai stated, The Environment Department is directing the implementation of measures outlined in GRAP 1 and 2 across all departments, maintaining precautions at current hotspots.

According to instructions provided to the appropriate departments, Rai stated, Teams addressing the anti-dust campaign, prevention of open burning, PUC checking, and alleviating traffic jams, among other initiatives, will continue in their efforts. Furthermore, 215 mobile anti-smog guns, 82 mechanical sweeping machines, and 375 water sprinklers will all still be used on a daily basis. Construction sites will be required to implement mandatory dust control measures, according to Rai.

Before work can begin, projects larger than 500 square meters must be registered. 591 teams are in charge of monitoring construction sites, and infractions will result in fines, according to Rai. With immediate effect, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) Sub-Committee on Tuesday issued an order rescinding the Stage-III actions under the GRAP in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The order from November 2 is revoked by the decision, which was made in response to the current air quality conditions as determined by CAQM. According to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research, the overall AQI for the national capital was 318 on Wednesday morning, meaning that the air quality remained in the very poor category.
