The head of the European Business and Technology Organization held a discussion with Dakshina Kannada District In-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao on Thursday regarding construction of Bengaluru-Mangaluru Integrated Green Field High Speed Corridor. Udupi District in-charge Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar participated in the meeting.Mangaluru-Bengaluru Green Zone High Speed Corridor will be very helpful for the development of Mangaluru as well as for the development of other cities along the route. The organization held a discussion with the minister today as a starting point for the planned construction of 6 to 8 line high-speed corridor.Minister Dinesh Gundurao expressed his opinion in the meeting that the high speed corridor will be very helpful in bringing more capital to Mangaluru. He said that connecting the corridor to Mangaluru Port will also help in the growth of business enterprises.Corridor route map needs to be discussed with more information. Minister Dinesh Gundurao promised in the meeting that he will hold talks with the Minister of Public Utilities and the Chief Minister in this regard. Minister Dinesh Gundurao said that the state government will encourage such projects which will help in the sustainable development, private partnership is also needed for the implementation of such projects.
