District in-charge Minister Ishwar Khandre called that the BJP who came to power by lying are fake nationalists and everyone should unite and defeat them.
Speaking at a meeting to gather opinions on the party’s candidate selection for the Lok Sabha polls in the city, he said that the communal BJP party should be uprooted. Both of us won as MLAs and became Ministers in the district. Our government has fulfilled all the promises made to the people in the state. Now we have to work to inform people about our plans, he said.
About Rs 1400 crores to the district under various schemes like Shakti, Grilahakshmi, free electricity, Anna Bhagya etc. by our government, has been directly credited to beneficiary account. He said that we will also provide facilities to the unemployed graduates in January, adding that the Congress party leaders in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have been encouraged by the implementation of our guarantee schemes.
Whoever is the candidate in the Lok Sabha elections, I have to work with the feeling that I am standing. Ishwara Khandre said that it is up to the elders to decide who the party will nominate. Former MLA of Aland Constituency BR Patil said that if Narendra Modi wins again in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, democracy will not survive in this country, there is a big danger. He prophesied that dictatorship would rise.
The district is the birthplace of the party’s National President, Mallikarjuna Kharge. If Congress wins here, our fame will increase even more. So let’s win the Congress party candidate together. He promised that Aland and Chincholi will also abide by the decision of the party leaders of district.
Urban Administration Minister Rahim Khan said that if the beneficiaries of our scheme help us, we can win at least 25 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Already the schemes of our government are reaching everyone’s doorstep. He said that our government has given all the guarantees in just three months, but those who trusted and voted for Modi have not got anything till now.
