Bodies of boys drowned in water pit recovered

The bodies of two boys who were washed away in the waters of Hirehalla near Devatkal village of Surpur taluk of the district were found on Monday.
Srianna and Yuvaraja, boys from Devatkal village, had gone to Hirehalla to graze cattle on Sunday. When the boys did not return home even in the evening, the worried family members searched and found the boys’ clothes near the well.
After coming to know about the matter, the fire brigade personnel and police officers have been searching the local area since Sunday night and on Monday, they removed the dead bodies of two boys named Yuvraj (10) and Srianna Chandrakant (8).
Surpur sub-division DySP Javed Inamdar and Police Inspector Anand Wagmode have visited and inspected the place. A case has been registered at Surpur police station.
