Director Anubhav Sinha recently discussed his 2011 superhero movie Ra.One, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and expressed regret for not meeting the superstar’s expectations. During an interaction with Connect FM Canada, Sinha admitted that he felt he had failed Shah Rukh Khan by not creating a film that lived up to the actor’s stature. He said, I did not make a good enough film but it was such a great opportunity, I should have made a better film. Regarding the possibility of a Ra.One sequel, Sinha described it as a presumptuous thought. He explained that the film happened at a time when he was recovering from a career setback with his film Cash and working with Shah Rukh Khan on Ra.One was an unexpected opportunity. Anubhav Sinha is a respected filmmaker known for his visionary approach and has directed critically acclaimed films such as Thappad, Article 15, Mulk, and Bheed. He is currently working on a romantic movie titled Bachpan Ka Pyar starring Rajkummar Rao and Vaani Kapoor, directed by Apurva Dhar. The film is set in a small town and revolves around a love story.
