A heart-wrenching incident occurred on Friday, October 27, as a school student lost her life in a collision with a speeding motorcycle near Ujire at Badanaje. The young victim has been identified as Ankita, an 8-year-old third-standard student and the beloved daughter of Ashoka and Jayashree. The unfortunate accident transpired as she was crossing the road, and a motorcycle operated by Vikas struck her. A case has been registered against the motorcycle rider at the Beltangady police station. Ankita leaves behind grieving parents, a twin sister, and a brother, underscoring the tragic impact of this unfortunate incident.
