Janaspandan is a programme that accepts complaints from the public and solves their problems on the spot or at the earliest. MLA PM Narendraswamy said that the public should take advantage of this programme.
He spoke at the Jana Spandana programme held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Malavalli town.
This programme is being organized at district, taluk and Hobli level as per the wishes of Chief Minister. Activists working in the social sector inform the public about this programme. This will prevent the public from wandering to the office with their problems, he said.
Many problems arise due to negligence of some staff in revenue department and lack of information in some cases by public. He said that the problems cause loss of property among brothers and sisters.
70 percent of assets out of 100 are still not have pavthi accounts. Some people leave their hometown and stay somewhere else, the property is not divided and remains in the name of the grandfather and great-grandfather, and the family does not get together and make a pavthi account. There can be many reasons for this. This one problem can lead to illegal wealth gain. He said that the public should be careful.
