KSRTC Ramps Up Dussehra Travel Services: Over 2,000 Additional Buses To Serve City Commuters

As the Dussehra holiday approaches, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced the suspension of its services from A.20 to A. In a bid to facilitate seamless travel for the public during the festive period, the corporation has arranged for the operation of more than 2,000 special buses from Bengaluru to various destinations within the state and beyond. The additional bus services will remain operational until the 26th of the month.

Passengers can avail themselves of the special bus services from multiple key departure points, including the Kempegowda Bus Stand, Mysore Road Satellite, and Shantinagar BMTC Bus Stand. Furthermore, from the 24th to the 29th, KSRTC has arranged for a special bus service, connecting the city with numerous destinations both within and outside the state.

Travelers can choose from a diverse array of destinations, with special buses operating to prominent locations such as Dharmasthala, Kukkesubramanya, Sringeri, Horanadu, Shimoga, Madikeri, Mangalore, Davangere, Gokarna, Kollur, and many more. The travel services also extend to other cities and states, including Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Vijayapur, Karwar, Bellary, Hospet, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Salem, Tiruchinapally, Pudukote, Madurai, Panaji, Shirdi, Pune, Ernakulam, Palgat, and other popular destinations.

The initiative is poised to cater to the surge in travel demands during the festive season, providing a reliable and efficient means of transportation for the public across various regions. With the increased frequency of services, the KSRTC aims to ensure a hassle-free and enjoyable travel experience for all commuters during the joyous occasion of Dussehra.
