Two Arrested For Cattle Theft In Shiroor Pete, Goods Worth Rs 9 Lakh Seized

Byndoor Police have arrested two individuals suspected of stealing cattle near Manjunatha Hotel in Shiroor Pete, Byndoor Taluk. The cattle were sleeping in a vacant plot opposite to the hotel when the incident happened.

According to reports, the Byndoor Police seized two vehicles and apprehended two suspects in connection with the incident on Halady Road near the Koteswara Sunrise Factory.

Sridhar Bijoor, President of Byndoor Namo Balaga, informed Byndoor Police with CCTV footage that Abdul Samad (27) from M Kodi and Abdul Rahman (25) of B Fatima Cottage from Kodi were involved in the cattle theft.

Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar, along with Additional Superintendents of Police Siddalingappa, Parameshwara Hegde, DySP KU Belliyappa and Circle Inspector   Savithra Tej, Sub Inspector Mesh from Byndoor Circle, coordinated the operation with the help of technical wing personnel of the CDR Division.

Both the accused have been accused of stealing and using a Mahindra XUV 500 car, an EcoSport Ford car, two mobile phone handsets, and valuables worth approximately Rs 9 lakhs, which is believed to have been used in the crime and has been confiscated by the police.
